Uh Oh! 16,000 Pounds of Perdue Chicken Nuggets Have Been RECALLED!
Perdue Foods has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 16,000 pounds of Perdue Fun Shapes ready to eat chicken nuggets for undeclared allergens.
The nuggets contain milk and that was not disclosed on the packaging putting those with an allergy at risk. The affected batch was produced on January 10, 2019. They have a USE BY date of Mar 11, 2019.
The affected batches of Perdue Fun Shapes were shipped to stores in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, DC, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The problem was uncovered when a retailer notified Perdue that the incorrect label was affixed to the chicken nuggets. No illnesses have been reported.
