A New Class Action Lawsuit against Apple has recently come out with almost 80 Plaintiffs! These Plantiffs state that their IPhone 6 had a defect with the batteries and instead of Apple fixing it- Apple sent out an update that slowed the phones down. According to the IPhone Class Action Lawsuit in 2016 multiple IPhone 6 users began to notice their batteries were draining too quickly. In response to the complaints, Apple sent out an update for IOS devices that slowed down the performance.
But that did not fix the issue, it made the phones harder to use. The update also went out to the other IOS devices, including the IPad. But the IPhone 6 was the only one with battery issues. In December 2017 Apple finally admitted to sending out the update knowing that the update slowed down the devices.
The Plaintiffs in this case are seeking damages for all iPhone users of the IPhone 5 – 7S and Ipad Models including the mini, Mini 2 and the Air. Did your iPhone become slow? What are your thoughts on the IPhone Class Action Lawsuit?
