Who loves to shop at Kohls? I sure do and the Kohls Credit Card is a sure way to get all the best deals. If you had a Kohls Charge card, you could be owed money! Kohls and Capital One have agreed to settle nearly a $2 million dollar lawsuit. The cash settlement alleges both companies deceptively charged customers for credit monitoring, regardless of whether or not they had actually enrolled in the service.
The proposed settlement will benefit those who had a Kohls Private label credit card between 2011 and 2013 and were charged $14.99 a month for a service called PrivacyGuard. Those who did not complete the second step of enrollment did not actually receive the PrivacyGuard service, despite being charged $14.99 a month for it. Watch your mailbox for a memo explaining you were eligible for the settlement and for more information.
