Check those pantries and fridges! A fruit supplier that supplies plums, peaches, nectarines has issued at recall due to possible Listeria contamination!
A distributor in Yonkers NY issued a recall affecting Aldi, Costco and even Walmart and many other stores.
The recall spreads across 18 states, from New England to the Midwest. Below you’ll find a list of stores affected and the states. For the UPC and additional info on the products, please be sure to check out the article linked at the bottom of this post.
ALDI stores: Recalling Nectarines, Peaches and Plums in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Costco: Wholesale Clubs in California are recalling nectarines.
Fairway Market: New York are recalling nectarines and peaches.
Hannaford: Stores located in Maine are recalling peaches
Market Basket: Locations in the state of Massachusetts are recalling nectarines and peaches.
Walmart: Stores in the states ofKentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia also have recalled nectarines and peaches.
So far, thankfully no illnesses have been reported. A routine sampling program uncovered the possible contamination.
