BREAKING NEWS UPDATE! Romaine Recall Turns Deadly!

The CDC has warned consumers to carefully check their produce. They now report nearly 150 people have become sick with the most recent experiencing symptoms on April 21st. The outbreak began in the month of March.

Residents in 29 (up from 25 last week) states have been affected with symptoms of E Coli poisoning. One life has been claimed. Florida, North Dakota, Minnesota and Texas are the 4 new states to experience sickness from tainted romaine.

The romaine lettuce affected was grown in the Yuma Arizona area. Consumers are advised to err on the side of caution and if you cannot determine where your lettuce was grown to discard it.
