Minute Rice – Ready to Serve Black Beans & Rice Review + Coupon Giveaway!

I recently received a package in the mail from Minute Rice. Inside was 2 little cups, a coupon, a clip & a note. Now, I don’t remember signing up for this Taste Test, but heck.. I’ll take it! I love Rice & Black Beans!

I was a little iffy about it after opening up the cups.. the rice looked great but the beans… I just wasn’t sure if they’d be good. Heck, in all honestly, I imagined them to be the worst tasting beans ever…

To my surprise, they were actually very flavorful. The rice & beans were cooked perfectly after 90 seconds in the microwave.

I would love to try adding some Collard greens & Pork next time to make one of my favorite Brazilian dishes, but for now… this really hit the spot!

My favorite recipe is the half off General tso’s chicken spice flavoring at Shaw’s. It is on sale now for $1 and there is a .25 cent coupon that “might” double. The flavor is amazing and it is so tendor. Even my 6 year old loves it over rice!

Rice and bean burritos! Add rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, onions, tomatoes and anything else you want and roll it up in a flour tortilla.
